Cyclomics is an emerging biotech company transforming how cancer is detected and monitored. Our mission is to bring ultra-fast and accurate cancer detection into clinical practice. We developed proprietary circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) technology. Combined with (long-read) sequencing this enables ultra-sensitive, personalized cancer diagnostics.

To support our growth, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Business Developer who wants to help bring innovative diagnostics to hospitals, labs, and industry partners worldwide.

Job Description

As a Business Developer at Cyclomics, you will play a key role in expanding our commercial activities. You’ll work closely with our scientific, and commercial teams to identify new opportunities and build strong relationships in the healthcare and biotech ecosystem.

Your responsibilities include:

• Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities

• Supporting partnerships with hospitals, diagnostic labs, and industry players

• Preparing pitches, project proposals, and collaboration agreements

• Conducting market research and competitive analysis

• Representing Cyclomics at conferences and other events

• Supporting go-to-market and sales strategies as the company scales

• You report to the CEO

  
  

Your qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is curious, driven, and excited about working at the intersection of science and business.

You:

• Have a master’s degree or PhD (e.g. life sciences, biomedical sciences)

• Have experience with next-generation sequencing and/or bioinformatics

• Can translate "high-level science" into "high-impact pitches."

• Are an active listener who can identify a client’s challenges and articulate how Cyclomics solves them.

• Are interested in biotech, diagnostics, or healthcare innovation

• Have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships

• Are proactive, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

• Are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

Bonus:

• Experience in biotech, medtech, or healthcare sales/business development

• Affinity with molecular diagnostics or genomics

• A network within the European diagnostic lab or hospital landscape.
