Cyclomics is growing, and we’re looking for a new colleague to join our team.

We’re seeking a Lab Technician / Molecular Biologist to work with us at Amsterdam Science Park. If you enjoy hands-on lab work and want to contribute to meaningful advances in healthcare, this could be a great fit.

The role

This position is suited for someone at a mid- to senior-level with experience in clinical diagnostics and DNA sequencing. You’ll be involved in both routine lab work and the development of new assays, working closely with the rest of the team to move projects forward.

Your day-to-day work may include

• Running and improving molecular biology protocols (PCR, NGS, sample prep)

• Handling and processing clinical samples

• Supporting assay development and validation efforts

• Working alongside scientists and engineers across disciplines

• Keeping clear and accurate lab records

What you bring

• A degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or similar (PhD not mandatory)

• Experience in clinical diagnostics and/or NGS workflows

• Solid practical lab skills and attention to detail

• A proactive, startup-minded attitude: adaptable, curious, and hands-on

• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
